The calculator is an estimate for ordinary hosted search. Optional AI answers can be estimated separately unless they use the same unit price as searches. They can be capped separately, so a useful search box does not quietly become an open-ended AI bill.
The free tier is a €5 credit on each new account. It can be spent on eligible sites, and final billing controls will be shown in the app before anything is charged.
If a site has no credit, it is deactivated after one month and its indexed pages are removed. Adding credit later can start a fresh crawl again.
